Bug Description
Since the jaunty upgrade I have really strange display errors in konquerors (see screenshot). It seems everytime a ligature is rendered, some characters after the ligature get displayed extremly weird. I've verified this by locally saving a website that had the problem after the word "offered" - the problem went away after I deleted one of the 'f's. When filing this bug in konqueror, the text input box showed the same symptoms after the word "verified", so I had to switch to firefox. Other KDE applications (such as kate when using DejaVu Sans) don't seem to be affected.

Has none of you an idea what could be the reason for this? It is - as you can image - more than irritating and I have no idea how to debug font rendering.
Any tips which packages to reinstall? Config-files to reset? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
