Release of Ubuntu: 8.04 in amd64
Version of the package: 0.6.3-1~hardy1

I expect upgrade normally like any other package, but this not happen.

You're running 8.04 (Hardy) and have the hardy backport version of PokerTH.
Which version do you expect to upgrade to? Intrepid and Jaunty have 0.6.3 too, so no real upgrade for you, only Karmic would offer 0.7.

You could, however, install 0.7 from our PPA at https://launchpad.net/~pkg-games/+archive/ppa which will pull in new boost which is needed for 0.6.4 and later and which is the reason why there is no 0.6.4 or later in the official backports yet.
