Hi,

"unstripped" means "with mpeg encoders" (which are removed in the "stripped" variant, for licensing & patents reasons), and not "without debug symbols and the symbol table".

(Btw, this bug should have been reported against ffmpeg in ubuntu, as Medibuntu doesn't provided the libavcodec-unstripped-52 package)
