login screen corrupted on big display

I've just installed Kubuntu dapper. My box is 2x amd64 dual core, 2x nvidia 4500 gfx cards and a 30" dell monitor. I'm running the nvidia drivers. When running in 2560x1600 mode, the kubuntu login screen is corrupted. The upper left rectangle is rendered correctly, the rest looks like raw video memory. I am guessing that the rectangle that's rendered correctly is 1600x1200 pixles. The mouse can move anywhere on the screen without problems.

Thank you for the bug report, just a question. Is there a way you can add a screenshot? This affect kdm, I will may the appropriate fixes to your bug report.

I believe this is the package, seems more like a general kdm problem.

It seems to be working fine on the current Gutsy. I guess it was a symptom of
something else that just got fixed somehow.
