Bug Description

Can't authenticate after locking my session, kcheckpass is unable to get the authentication information due missing permissions. I had to set the s-bit:
chmod u+s `which kcheckpass`.

This is not the right solution for your problem - you just need to change group ownership of /etc/shadow to "shadow". This was cased by kde-guidance bug.
