Bug Description

Seen this message reported previously, but not with Jaunty or my hardware.

Running the 9.04 UNR on Dell Mini 9 with Broadcom 4312 wireless. Network connectivity lasts 5-10 minutes, then all packets are lost, sometimes with error:
ping: sendmsg: No buffer space available

Sometimes with general:
Destination unavailable.

All latest patches available to Jaunty, with kernel:
2.6.28.11-generic #42 SMP Fri Apr 17 01:57:59 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux

Any suggestions?

Also, I've tried with and without backports installed. No improvement either way. In fact, the wireless card is sometimes not detected in network manager at all with backports enabled.

in my case it's most probably a router issue. it's a crappy one:

sometimes while wireless seems to be connected fine, and even some torrents streaming properly, yet the router doesn't answer to ping, nor does DNS work.

breaking and reconnecting the wireless connection fixes it for a while, but if torrents are running, then it happens soon after.
