Bug Description
Binary package hint: amarok
Usually, amarok always keeps the dynamic playlist filled; tracks are automatically added while it advances through the playlist, such that there are always a certain number of tracks ahead of the currently played track.
However, when the user manually removes not yet played tracks from the playlist, no new tracks are added until the current track has finished playing. The expected behavior would be that new tracks are appended immediately. IIRC this used to be the case in amarok 1.4.
If _all_ future tracks are removed, amarok even stops playback completely after the current track, instead of just adding more tracks to the playlist.
Tested in jaunty/amarok 2.0.2
Hi Daniel :)
thanks for your report. I am pretty sure it did not add new tracks immediately in 1.4 but instead added them on track change like it does now and I don't think we should change that.
About Amarok not adding new tracks if you delete all tracks from the playlist: That will be fixed in the next release (2.1).
