missing "create patch"

on team there is no "create patch", but there is an "apply patch" (cvs and svn (subversive) there is a create patch).

for recipient not using bazaar, and/or to share a patch eg by mail, this functionlaity is needed

You could use the the send action and checking the "no budle" option
to only include the diff.
could you check if that is enough for what you need?

I see no Send in the team menu. I recently had to deploy a new machine, so also received a recent version of the plugin... or is it in a non-stable release?

Yes, it's in the dev snpashot.
I'll be doing a release soonish.
