I am unable to disable session saving in Xubuntu 9.04.

=== System information ===
Xubuntu 9.04 (fully up to date as of defect creation date)
ASUS EEE 901

=== Test Details ===
Disable the session saving by:
-Uncheck "Automatically save session on logout" in the "General" tab of "Session and Startup".
-With some programs started, log out, making sure "Save session for future logins" is unchecked.
-Login.

=== Expected Results ===
The XFCE desktop like the very 1st login will load, plus applications in the "Application Autostart" tab of "Sessions and Startup.

=== Actual Results ===
My Previous session loaded.
