Pokerth window is too big for small res (netbook) screens

Binary package hint: pokerth

On my Netbook (Samsung NC10, 1024x600 resolution) the vertical size of the pokerth playing window does not fit on the screen, making it impossible to play. The size of the window is hardcoded in src/gui/qt/gametable.ui as 680 pixels, too big for most netbooks. There is no option in the settings to change the screen size.
This is in current jaunty 9.04:
Pokerth is at 0.6.3-1

I've added a new version to my ppa where I changed the hardcoded 680px to hardcoded 580px. This of course is not a proper patch, but might serve as a workaround for anyone having trouble with this.

Could you please try 0.7 from our PPA at https://launchpad.net/~pkg-games/+archive/ppa ?
This version should work quite fine on your resolution now.

yes. much better! In fullscreen it fits perfectly -- in window mode it still doesn't quite fit, due to the panel. But I also don't know what the desired solution there would be.
In any case, fullscreen is perfectly playable. Thanks!

thats great. Are you using Netbook Remix? If so, the problem with the panel is known: http://www.pokerth.net/forum?func=view&catid=15&id=3193 but unfixed yet.
Could you post some screenshots of your setup?
