Bug Description
The AMANDA backup software is available for Nexenta Elatte but is not available for Nexenta Hardy. I tried to install Amanda on OpenSolaris, but I couldn't get it to work. Nexenta is the ideal platform to use for an Amanda backup server as it has a GNU userland which AMANDA is designed for and it also has ZFS which keeps the backups safe. It may be possible to use the packages from Elatte or to build from source, but the ideal solution would be for this to be installable through the normal channels out of the box.
