Looks like a duplicate of bug 370464. Could you attach your /etc/samba/smb.conf file ?
If there is a "smb passwd file = file:///etc/samba/smbpasswd" line in there, any idea where it comes from ?

Looks like a problem in kdenetwork-filesharing, which rewrites smb.conf entries with "file://" prefixes. Bug 373618 is related. With a broken smb.conf samba installation/upgrade will fail.

Reassigning to kdenetwork and renaming.
