@Ron, did anything else go wrong while installing the updates? For example, did you abort or restart the update installation at somepoint? Did you see any other errors? If you run update-manager again, does it still show any updates? If so, which ones? What happens if you run "sudo apt-get dist-upgrade" from a terminal?

We're closing this bug since it is has been some time with no response from Ron Nickel. However, if the issue still exists please feel free to reopen with the requested information. Also, if you could, please test against the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this confirms the bug is one we may be able to pass upstream for help.
