Bug Description
Zim version 0.28 on Ubuntu 9.04. The zim -D command does not give me the gtk version nor any relevant message.
When after opening e.g. an image with GIMP the program is closed the process remains open (status Zombie). Every subsequent use of GIMP opens another process that remains open with zombie status after closing the program (see attached screenshot of the system monitor). In some cases it seems to block the use of GIMP outside Zim, but I can't consistently duplicate that part of the error.
Rgds,
Paulo

The python branch handles child processes using the glib library and does no longer leave zombies
