Bug Description

Crash during ubuntu update. Looks like it happened due to kernel update. I had selected to keep the current existing menu.lst intact. Thx.

Can you comment if this is still an issue for you? I notice the following in your DpkgTerminalLog.gz file:

/usr/share/debconf/confmodule: line 42: printf: write error: Broken pipe

User postinst hook script [/sbin/update-grub] exited with value 1

dpkg: error processing linux-image-2.6.27-14-generic (--configure):

 subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
