Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
1) Ubuntu 9.04 - the Jaunty Jackalope - released in April 2009.
2) Firefox 3.0.10+
3) Smooth scolling of web page
4) Whenever there is a flash heavy website like, Facebook applications or say www.ndtv.com, the content is displayed properly but the scrolling is very staggered. It appears as if the content is being pushed and it moves with an inertia like movement.

Many bad Firefox behaviors are in fact caused by one of the many third-party 'themes', 'extensions' and 'plugins'. These will go away with a new profile - that is, when Firefox is restored to default settings and without any extensions and themes. You do not need to delete your old profile to test. /wiki.ubuntu. com/MozillaTeam /Bugs?action= show&redirect= DebuggingFirefo x#Try%20with% 20a%20new% 20profile
Could you please try with a new profile and let us know if that helps?
