This is a duplicate of bug 292159 which was a bug in casper and should be fixed as of casper version 1.162. Please be sure to update to this newer version. Thanks.

update-initramfs is disabled since running on a live CD

Failed to symbolic-link /boot/initrd.img-2.6.27-7-generic to initrd.img.
