Bug Description

As discussed with Michael Vogt in irc, here is a bug report about a failing update manager when trying to upgrade to dapper.

The version installed is 0.42.2ubuntu9~bp1 from people.ubuntu.com/~mvo/update-manager.

After clicking upgrade->upgrade, it downloads dapper.tar.gz and throws an exception.

It seems that there is a problem reading my sources.list

Thanks for your bugreport.

I uploaded a new dist-upgrader (the internal component that is downloaded by update-manager) that should fix this problem. It will be available in ~1h, could you give it a try when it's availalbe?

Thanks,
 Michael

I tried it just now, the error did not occur again, thanks very much.
Now I can finally move my main system to dapper :-).
