Bug Description
Binary package hint: usb-imagewriter
When launching image writer the names of the available flash drives are inconsistent with what nautilus shows. Attached is a screenshot of the program running on my laptop in 9.04 with the nautilus window behind it. In my case my laptop usually has three removable media drives: a 1GB thumb drive, an SD card (in this case 14.9MB) and an external hard drive.
Ideally the labels in imagewriter would match those in Nautilus. If that's hard then at least they should show the capacity.

The problem with that idea is that there may be
a) multiple drives by the same name in nautilus
b) drives which do not show up in nautilus at all
a) is often the case when you use multiple drives of the same type and do not rename them, then every disk will be shown as e.g. "SanDisk" or "USB Disk". b) is rare, but possible if the drive was e.g. encrypted.
But I agree that it should be possible to show the size and drive label, if present, within the parentheses.
