8.04: ghc6-install: Error in subprocess post installation script

Hi,

I tried to install ghc6 (6.8.2-2ubuntu1) on a Virtuozzo vServer
(Kernel 2.6.9-023stab048.6-enterprise #1 SMP) with Ubuntu 8.04.2:

This is caused by a version of the kernel that is too old. If you can upgrade the kernel or libc6 then please do. Otherwise I don't think we are going to be able to fix this, sorry. See the following links for more information:
