Bug Description

OS: Ubuntu Server (8.04 LTS), x64

Printer: Epson Stylus D92 colour inkjet

Driver: Epson Stylus D68 - CUPS+Gutenprint v5.0.2 (recommended by the Open Printing database)

The last page in any print job is never ejected. To force manual ejection, either the printer must be power cycled or the USB cable removed and reconnected.

This error can be reproduced with printing from Linux, Windows and Mac clients using IPP and HTTPS using the native D92 driver and the similar D68 driver.

The D68 driver worked fine under openSUSE 11.x when the printer was connected directly to the computer and with a Linksys print server.

Please try the newest Gutenprint (5.2.3) by taking the package from the OpenPrinting web site:

http://openprinting.org/show_driver.cgi?driver=gutenprint

Please tell whether this solves your problem.

I updated to version 5.2.3 of Gutenprint on the server and on a client and set CUPS to the newer driver in both cases. There was a native D92 driver in the update.

The problem persists, however.
