rocksndiamonds 3.2.6.0+dfsg-6 does not download game data

Binary package hint: rocksndiamonds

the postinst script does not download any game data, allthough i selected every single game.
also putting the game data into ~/.rocksndiamonds/levels will keep the game complaining about no game data installed.

When I filed the request, the domain was working but the link lead to an 404.

I've checked the download links and no 404.

I don't get the error anymore, but the game data still will not download nor install.
I have re-installed rocksndiamonds after purging it before.

$ rocksndiamonds
Game data not installed!

usage: #dpkg-reconfigure rocksndiamonds
for install/update game levels

when I run sudo dpkg-reconfigure rocksndiamonds and I select to download a game this is what I get:
$ sudo dpkg-reconfigure rocksndiamonds

I am getting the same behaviour, although I was asked by a dialog for game data to install:

The issues in comments #4 & #5 are caused by the same issue as bug 353144.
I hesitate to mark this as a duplicate since the issue in the initial report and
comment #1 are different. Those amount to "config script does not gracefully
handle wget mishaps".
