Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

I am using Ubuntu 9.04 with current updates. Firefox 3.0 is rendering this page "https://client.schwab.com/Trade/OrderStatus" incorrectly (I am sorry but the page is so scrambled I can not describe the failure) if 1. I have just entered this page; 2. the page view is zoomed; and 3. I click a button to update information on the page. If I then do anything to change the page zoom, the page is displayed correctly, even if I again update information on the page. There are also no problems if the page zoom is nominal (Ctrl+0). There are also no problems if I am running Internet Explorer. I am sorry but this page is password protected so I do not know how you are going to debug this problem. May Schwab can get you access.

Thank you for reporting this bug to Ubuntu.
Many bad Firefox behaviors are in fact caused by one of the many third-party 'themes', 'extensions' and 'plugins'. These will go away with a new profile - that is, when Firefox is restored to default settings and without any extensions and themes.
Could you please try with a new profile to see if the problem goes away?
