Thank you for your bug report, could you install libgtk2.0-0-dbg, use a gdb break on gdm_x_error, run using --sync and get a stacktrace?

could you also give details on how to trigger the bug?

The bug is triggered on my system by simply starting evolution and then
moving one of the existing appointments (dragging) to any other slot.
Occasionally, it doesn't cause evolution to crash.

Please look at my new output and give instructions how to get a
meaningful stacktrace.

The issue is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug the to the people writting the software (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME)

Please also install the debug symbols libbonobo2-0-dbgsym liborbit2-dbgsym libglib2.0-dev-dbgsym and get a new trace. Then it will be complete and can be send upstream. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the report, it has been some time without any response or feedback in this bug report and we are wondering if this is still an issue for you with the latest release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal, May you please test with that version and comment back if you're still having or not the issue? Please have a look at http://www.ubuntu.com/download to know how to install that version. Thanks in advance.
