Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-nettool
It gives me the loopback and eth0 to choose from but when I click on the button (I guess it's "configure" in english ["Einrichten" in german]) it requires (gk)sudo-password and then comes up with a dialog saying the "interface does not exist" - I might've "misspelt" it.
Thought I'd try to read the exact call being passed to gksudo in that dialog - but it's gone pretty quick IIRC .. anyway, the sudo-timeout doesn't seem to want to expire ATM .. and I gotta run now, just UTSL ;-) ... still : HTH
Ubuntu 8.04.2 - "Hardy Heron" - I know it's a bit out-dated, so hopefully is this bug ;-)
