Bug Description

Fresh Ubuntu 9.10 install on Positivo Desktop;
Added Network printer via the Printer Configuration dialog, and used the printer CD to get the PPD;
Printer is a Kyocera CS-1820;
Went into Server Settings and added it as Shared;
Went into Printer Properties and changed the Media Source to "Cassette1", "Cassette2" or "Multi Purpose Feeder";

No matter which source is used, prints will always go to the Manual Feed.

The only modification made to smb.conf was the line "use client driver = yes" inside the [printer] section.

This is because Windows PCs show "access denied, unable to connect" for the shared printer. I got the solution to this problem from http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-networking-3/samba-client-access-denied-unable-to-connect-122851/

That is another bug that needs fixing.

Thanks,

I suspect that this is due to the same problem I'm working on fixing, which is the fact that cups currently cannot handle any %%IncludeFeature directives, which is how *InputSlot (tray settings) are communicated. I'm going to mark this as a duplicate of Bug #307471, so all of us have a central place to monitor tray-related bugs.
