Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-i128

In Kubuntu Hardy, i128 (v. 1.2.1) worked well with Number Nine Revolution IV card and SGI 1600SW monitor.

In Kubuntu Jaunty, i128 (v. 1.3.1) causes machine to freeze during startup of X server. Xorg log attached. No error message; server just stops and machine freezes.

you seem to have several cards installed, and it probably fails to load the nvidia glx library.. What if you uninstall nvidia-glx-**?

I have three cards installed: an nVidia (nvidia propietary driver), an ATI Rage (r128), and the Number Nine Revolution 4 (i128). All three work fine together under Hardy. In Jaunty, *only* the nVidia works.

I removed nvidia-glx-** packages as you suggested. I also modified xorg.conf to try to use *only* the SG1600W / Number Nine Revolution 4 / i28 screen. It still doesn't work. Behavior is the same.

Xorg.0.log (attached) is slightly different.
