kmail distorts on screen

Binary package hint: kmail

will attach a screenshot. on this actual screenshot you'll see some portions of the wallpaper showing up inside the kmail window. sometimes very big pixel artifacts appears when scrolling with the mouse wheel.

Hey Imre!

Pretty nasty bug you've got there. Though it is not a bug within KMail but the underlying graphics driver. I am assuming you are using an Intel chip, so I am going to move the bug over there, if you are not the triagers of that package can toss the bug along.

Meanwhile, please provide the output of the command
lspci -vvnn
this will make it a lot easier for the Xorg triagers to process this bug.

Thanks for your report but it's important to know that without logs is pretty hard to triage any issue.

It's ideal to report bugs using ubuntu-bug xorg (for this case)

Thankfully you attached some screenshoots, so by the timeframe and similarities between screenshoots i'm marking this as dupe from bug # 378383

Harald: now I attached the appropriate output
Andres: Yes, I didn't attached any logs becouse I have no a priori knowlege of what logs you will need, therefore I do not want to attach all my logs if not neccessary.
