firefox has problems with printing changing fonts

Bug Description
Firefox has problems to print text that has several fonts (or font variants) in one line. This is reproducible with for example an html file of coloured source code.
I am using the following packages on Ubuntu Breezy:

It is just a random webpage that makes it possible to reproduce the problem. Check page 3 of the attached postscript file. The purple "throws" overlaps with the "(" to the left of it. The quotes around "header" also overlap with the "(" to the left of it.
