Bug Description

I tried to upgrade from Ubuntu 8.10 to 9.04 but during the installation of upgrades i got the following packages installation error. the packages are as follows:

Evolution exchange
Lingchtm-editor-common
evolution data server
libpam-runtime
libedata-server
gamin_0.1.9
libhall
liburi-perl
libhtml-parser
netbase

What is the way to reinstall all these and make my Ubuntu upgrade to 9.04?

Reassigning to update-manager since it wasn't a problem just with hal.

Looking at the errors this looks like a corrupted filesystem. you've reported it a while ago, is it still an issue ?
