Bug Description

On my Lenovo s10e, no option for capturing sound is found in the alsa-mixer when using the 2.6.28-11 kernel on Kubuntu 9.04 (Skype fails to record sound but does play it). When I choose the 2.6.27-11 kernel, I have no problems (using Skype).

I have noticed that other people report having problems with capturing sound on the Lenovo s10e in general - I previously only had problems when recording sound and video simultaneously, but not when skyping.

If I'm not mistaken the sound chipset is an Intel HDA ALC269. Pls tell what details to report to be more helpful in my description.
