should suggest fortune-mod

I had add an applet "Wanda the fish" to the Gnome panel. I was able to do this but it doesn't work.
Now I now that we had to add 2 packages:
fortune-mod and fortunes-pl (second is for my native language-polish).
I think that in older versions of Ubuntu Wanda works perfectly without any user intervention.

I believe this bug should have read: fortune-mod should be a required package ("depends") or at least a recommended package for gnome-applets. That means that at least fortune-mod should be on the Ubuntu standard and alternate CDs.

there is no need to have that on the cd a suggest would be enough that should be sent to debian

Sebastien, Wanda doesn't do much without "fortune". If Fortune isn't necessary enough to include on the CD, then logically neither is Wanda. You can't have users adding her as an applet to their Gnome panel and then clicking on her and having this cryptic error message appearing.

let's say we have thousand of bugs about people having their computer not working how it should so I don't think we will spend time any time soon on making this applet shipped in a different binary or something just to solve this issue, we have better things to work on

let's say that making a package to require/suggest another package is taking less time than reading these 6 comments.

If only the package maintainer would be persuaded to DO it.
