Bug Description

Binary package hint: linux-image

On my Acer TravelMate 4002LMi laptop, 9.04 randomly misses keystrokes or sometimes registers single keystrokes multiple times. I already had a similar (or maybe the same) problem back in the days of Breezy and Dapper. If I remember correctly back then it was somehow related to ACPI and the TravelMate's smart battery.
As I don't have any suspicious error messages in any of my log files, I'm not quite sure what information to provide. For starters I attached the output of dmesg. If you need more specific information, just let me know.

System: Acer TravelMate 4002LMi
lsb_release:
-> Release: 9.04
-> Codename: jaunty

Set status of bug to 'invalid', as it is not related to the ACPI/kernel problem I mentioned above. Since I switched from KDE 4.3 to Xfce a few days ago, my system doesn't show any of the sluggish behaviour any more. Seems my laptop isn't coping so well with those new and shiny desktop environments.
