Bug Description

Binary package hint: audacious

The other day my audacious had been working, but when I tried to play a new song, the program closed and now will not launch anymore.

I do not have the audacious-crossfade plugin installed, which seems to be the usual cause from other posts. I have used the synaptic package manager to uninstall and then reinstall with no success.

~$ dpkg -l audacio*

Is this still an issue? Removing everything with apt-get purge can help as well as deleting ~/.config/audacious.

We are closing this bug report because it lacks the information we need to investigate the problem, as described in the previous comments. Please reopen it if you can give us the missing information, and don't hesitate to submit bug reports in the future. To reopen the bug report you can click on the current status, under the Status column, and change the Status back to "New". There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test audacious 2.3 in the current Ubuntu development version (10.04). Thanks again!
