amule + jaunty = bus error

Hello everybody,

My Jaunty is freshly installed, and i have no problem, except when i try tu run amule :

amule => bus error (erreur du bus in french)

no gui interface, nothing happen

and that's all information i have!
I tried to reinstall it several times, to install older versions, to install the amule-adudenza, nothing works, and i can't find any help in the french forum, and i didn't see any related post in the launchpad (except a bus error with firefox, but doesn(t solve my problem)

What can i do guys?

no i didn't, but i solve the problem installing jaunty 32bits!

I have Kubuntu Jaunty 32-bit. I get the same error. "Väylävirhe" in Finnish, it most likely means "bus error". I tried the aMule PPA too, it had a newer version but it didn't work as well...

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test a current, supported, Ubuntu version. If you can test it, and it is still an issue, we would appreciate if you could upload updated logs by running apport-collect 373189, and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
