I've got the same problem on both my desktop and laptop. I'm also running Jaunty. Below are the steps to replicate the problem:
1. Load up Firefox urlbar. clickSelectsAll "
2. In the URL bar go to "about:config"
3. Click the "I'll be careful, I promise!" button
4. In the search bar, type "browser.
5. Double click the result to change from false to true (or leave as true)
6. Do nothing until your screensaver starts
7. Kill the screensaver (mouse move/key press)
8. Try typing an address in the URL bar in Firefox
You will only be able to type a couple characters before they are selected and overwritten by your next key strokes. If you set browser. urlbar. clickSelectsAll back to false, the problem will go away. Does this happen to everybody? Or only select systems?
