Bug Description

Binary package hint: evince

Hello,
I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 amd-64 and evince 2.26.1. I have come across a problem that occurs when reading a PDF document using evince in fullscreen mode. When hovering with mouse over the "leave Fullscreen" or "Start Presentation" button, after a second or two the screen starts to blink, continuously changing between showing the document and the desktop background in a very fast rate. This stops as soon as I move the cursor away from the button, or perform a left-click to exit fullscreen view mode, the same applies for the "Start Presentation" button. This happens only when the desktop visual effects are enabled.

ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: amd64
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/evince
NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia
Package: evince 2.26.1-0ubuntu1
ProcEnviron:
 LANG=en_GB.UTF-8
 SHELL=/bin/bash
SourcePackage: evince
Uname: Linux 2.6.28-11-generic x86_64

I'm sorry I looked through the bugs that launchpad brought up as similar but
none of them matched mine. Could you please send me a link to the bug, I
can't seem to find it.

 Thanks in advance,
Andreas
