Bug Description

I'm running Intredip Ibex on a Dell 910 Inspiron.
Today the system did an auto update and told me there were 22 updates available, I allowed them to install and rebooted...
Went out to eat, came home and my bluetooth is gone...I looked at the bluetooth settings and it can't seem to find the device. I've tried rebooting and resynching the device, no luck...
Ideas?

Marking invalid since the problem is related to Intrepid Ibex. The Dell Mini Project is only for the custom version of Hardy distributed with Dell Inspiron 910.

Thanks for the info...Don't see why this would be invalid-still Ubuntu 8.10...but OK...
the bug 281949 was not the same bug....
I did find a "work around" adding some code to the hardware manager and the mouse is recognized temporarily....Until you shut down or shut the mouse off...
But I find it's odd that this happened after an autoupdate and it has occurred across platforms (Dell, Vaio and Asus computers effected from my google search) with this update (?)
The linux forum also had the same error message for a desktop running Hardy Heron with an "obex" error which I also had running applet in bluez-gnome...I'm going to try the code suggested here to permanently fix this problem ....

We'll see...
