Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

I normally use a dual screen setup with a VGA and my laptop screen. I've moved the one and only panel that I have to the bottom of the VGA screen (which by the way had to be moved with "Alt" even though I've selected "Super" for that??). I occasionally change my setup to use laptop screen + TMDS-1. When I switch back to VGA + LVDS, the panel is positioned at the bottom of the laptop screen. But I think the position should be remembered from previous setups or at least at stay at the far bottom/top as before adding/removing a screen.

In both configurations (VGA or LCD + laptop) I have one screen above the other (to make the total area less than 2048x2048). My desire is that the panel stays at the bottom, regardless of the setup of screens.

I switch screens using xrandr
