Space Information (on Status Bar) not updated after delete (or even refresh)

Bug Description

Binary package hint: dolphin

I'm using Kubuntu AMD64 9.04, Dolphin 1.2.1.

In the Dolphin Preferences, I have the "Status Bar...Show space information" option turned on.

But if I forcibly delete (Shift+Del) a large number of files on a USB drive, then the space information is not updated.

Further to that, even doing "View...Reload" (F5) still does not update the space information.

There were some issues in combination with an older KDE and an older linux kernel that caused this. Should be working fine in Kubuntu 10.04.
