Bug Description

[Acer TravelMate 8104WLMi]

K\Ubuntu is installed and runned correctly but when start X-Server the desktop manager (KDE or Gnome) run but the display is black.
I must exit (Ctrl+Alt+F2) from desktop manager and kill X-Server, insert in /etx/X11/xorg.conf the line ' Option "MonitorLayout" "LVDS,AUTO" ' in Monitor section and reboot X and Desktop Manager. In this way the display it works.

(I'm not sure that package guilty is xorg-server)

Regards,
gp
