Bug Description
I am trying to install Ubuntu on a x86 system that has 3 disks in RAID-5 hanging off an Adaptec 2100S card. I have not been able to get Breezy to install due to bugs/issues with that distro and this card, so I am tried Dapper Flight 5. The install goes just fine, but when the system reboots after the initial install, the system fails to boot due to the kernel not finding /dev/i2o/hda1 (grub does find the kernel however).
Kinda frustrating, as I would love to install Ubuntu to try it out on this server, but can't seem to find any version of the distro that will install on this card.

Here are the hardware specs for the machine:
Xeon 2.4 (single CPU)
Intel SE7501CW2 motherboard
1G ram
Adaptec 2100S SCSI raid card
I doubt that makes a difference, but just FYI. I have repeated this twice to confirm. Again, this is just a base server install, and it fails to come back up after the reboot, but the install goes just fine.
I'm downloading the LiveDVD now- I'll post an lspci when I get it up and running.
