Can you create a debug log of a job by clearing the print queue (for
example "cancel -a" in a terminal window) and following the instructions
in the "CUPS error_log" section on

I have the same problem with my HP Laserjet 4000 printer on a printserver. I wrote abouw it in https:/ /answers. launchpad. net/ubuntu/ +source/ cups/+question/ 69550
I cannot print to my networkprinter from Jaunty Jackalope (9.04) though the printer works fine from ubuntu 8.10, 8.04, Fedora 10 and MS windows xp and Vista.
The computer prints the file and after some time the computer asks me if the printer is connected. I can login to the printserver interface, so the connection is made. I make a connection via socket: //192.168. 2.10:9100 as all other linux distros accept.
The workaround that did the job in Hardy (8.04) doesn't work in Jaunty (9.04) (see my question then at /answers. launchpad. net/ubuntu/ +question/ 33007
https:/
Does anyone have the same problem? Is there any solution I could try?
Thanks in advance.
