Please sync r-cran-mapdata 2.1-0-1 (universe) from Debian unstable (main).

Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
The Ubuntu change was made by me to include r-cran-maps in Build-Depends,
in order for the package to be built for jaunty. That change has now been
adopted by the DM.
