Bug Description

Binary package hint: gtk-recordmydesktop

When you keep your mouse pointer over the gktRecordMyDesktop menu description a contextual label appears that says "frontend for RecordMyDesktop". The question is that in Italian version of Ubuntu (tested with Hardy) this description is not translated.

Updated bug to note that gtk-recordmydesktop.desktop only currently has translations for English and French, all other languages are missing.

Ideally the source should be patched to grab this string out of the po/* translation files as part of the build and populate it automatically.

summary: - gtkRecordMyDesktop contextual menu description is not translated in
- Italian

Thanks for reporting this bug.

The package is in universe. Only packages in main are translatable in Ubuntu, so that is not something Ubuntu translators can fix.

The best thing to do should be to contact the upstream project to add the additional translations.
