Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

Ubuntu 8.04, evolution mail. I've been successfully using evolution until yesterday evening. I selected a message to view in my inbox, an error came up on the bottom stating the path to my inbox could not be found. Rebooted, inbox empty, although sub-folders in my inbox and sent items are still there. No error messages, I can send but not receive mail. (It acts normally, but no messages arrive)
I tried the following (that I found from an existing question). 0. Close evolution; 1. open a terminal; 2. type in 'evolution --force-shutdown' this will completely close Evolution.3. type 'env CAMEL_DEBUG=all evolution &> evo.log'(without the quotes) This will restart Evolution with a trace on the email routines.4. try to do a send/receive. Per your comments it should be an immediate failure...5. close evolution again. This will free up the terminal.6. look at the log file (evo.log) that was created. Somewhere in there you should see some errors.
evo log:

Thanks for the report, could you attach that log? It seems that the db is corrupted could you backup your files and delete that db ? it should re create that as soon as you start the application again.

I've attached the log, will need some help on how to follow your suggestion though as I'm relatively new at Ubuntu.
