WMware console plugin will not save on firefox 3.0.10

Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubufox
Hi,
When I click on the console tab using VMware 2, it ask me to install a plugin; I install the plugin, then firefox ask me to reload; I hit the reload key. When firefox reloads; I go to the console tab again on VMware and I get the same pop up to install the plugin that I have already installed.
My System: Ubuntu 8.10 x64
Firefox: 3.0.10

Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. Is this occurring in a newer Ubuntu release with a supported version of Firefox? Intrepid (8.10) was EOL at the end of Apr 2010. Firefox 3.6 was pushed out to all stable releases as well. Please let us know what occurs with a newer version.
