Bug Description
on jaunty jackalope 9.04, with kernel 2.6.28-11-generic running, wlan can not be found or even be found periodically. driver is running, but wlan is not stable. wlan is available if using e.g. kernel 2.6.27-13-generic. it don't matter if using network-manager or wicd.

Thanks for reporting this bug. Is this an intermittent failure or is it completely non functional, as I can't understand which you mean. Can you connect to any wifi networks? Are you using specific encryption? Does the stability issue change when you use a non-encrypted connection? Also can you provide us with the following please:
1. Please include the output of the command "uname -a" in your next response. It should be one, long line of text which includes the exact kernel version you're running, as well as the CPU architecture.
2. Please run the command "dmesg > dmesg.log" after a fresh boot and attach the resulting file "dmesg.log" to this bug report.
3. Please run the command "sudo lspci -vvnn > lspci-vvnn.log" and attach the resulting file "lspci-vvnn.log" to this bug report.
