I have no sound for my SPDIF fiber connection from my Abit IP35 Pro XE motherboard to my stereo. I have Ubuntu 9.04 Desktop installed and I believe my motherboard uses Realtek HD 7.1 channel audio codec. I have ALC888 analog and digital devices 0 and 1. Realtek RTL-8110SC/8169SC Gigabit
