Bug Description

Hi, recently I`ve tried to upload some files in MEGAUPLOAD.COM via Ephiphany and Fire Fox 3.0.10. After sending the file the browser freezes and a force quit is needed. It`s not that I am not waiting. In the oldest ver it was OK. And in FF2 or Iceweasel 2 it is OK too. I am sending a screenshot too :)

I have this poroblem too. Trying to upload files via MU (Firefox 3.5.7) on latest Ubuntu 64bit and it not only doesn't work - it pretty much hoses my whole internet connection. I think it's because it's uploading (with all the bandwidth taken up) but it's not showing that it's uploading. This problem continues even after I quit Firefox and lasts for about 10 mins.

Finally someone to confirm it! I posted it on 03.05.2009 and no one reported. Thank you. Appears that there are no problems in FF2.x versions... or if you disable flash plugin it is OK. Guess it`s from the flash animations.

Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. Does the same thing happen in another browser on Ubuntu like Epiphany or Konqueror?

Megaupload freezes in chrome too but this time I just close the tab (thread) so it`s better but still can`t upload a thing :( Guess it`s from the java plugin. I am almost 100% sure java/xorg issue!

I`ve found a fix! I had google-chrome installed on my system and I did the following
cd /usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree
sudo mv libflashplayer.so libflashplayer_BAK.so
sudo cp -l /opt/google/chorme/libgcflashplayer /usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/libflashplayer.so

I created a link from latest google chrome flashplayer into adobe`s broken one. Now megaupload works, vbox7 works and facebook`s petsociety works too.

I am attaching the fixed .so so you just c/p it in your /usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree and overwrite it!

@heatblazer
Please don't upload compiled libraries. Perhaps the latest Flash upload will fix your issue.
